Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA). The USERRA provides employment and re-employment protection for former, current, and future members of the uniformed services. The Veterans Benefits Improvement Act of 2004 requires employers to provide notice to employees of rights, benefits, and obligations under USERRA. Posting a notice conspicuously where notices to employees are customarily posted fulfills the new requirement.
